Bean Salad - Russian Appetizer Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Bean Salad:

1 cupful beans 200 g lettuce
2-3 carrots 2 tblsps salad oil
½ cupful shredded 200 g mustard dressing
celery

Soak the beans for 4-5 hours in cold water, then cook, drain and chill. Cook, cool and dice the carrots. Mix beans and carrots with shredded celery and lettuce. Pour over mustard dressing (see p.25). Arrange in a heap and garnish with lettuce leaves, csarrots and , if desired, sliced apple.
