Bean Salad - Russian Appetizer RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Bean Salad: Soak the beans for 4-5 hours in cold water, then cook, drain and chill. Cook, cool and dice the carrots. Mix beans and carrots with shredded celery and lettuce. Pour over mustard dressing (see p.25). Arrange in a heap and garnish with lettuce leaves, csarrots and , if desired, sliced apple.
