Beetroot “Caviar” - Russian Appetizer Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Beetroot “Caviar”:

500 g beetroots 2 tblsps butter
|2-3 tblsps sugar ½ lemon

Wash and cook the beetroots until tender. Peel and mince in a food chopper. Add sugar, butter, a bit of lemon rind and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly and heat in a saucepan for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Chill before serving.
