Cabbage salad - Russian Appetizer Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Cabbage salad :

500 g white cabbage Salt
¼ cupful vinegar 2 tblsps salad oil
½ tblsp sugar (optional)

Clean and wash the cabbage, remove the runt. Shred finely, sprinkle lightly with salt and rub until the cabbage becomes soft. Squeeze and drain off the juice. Combine the vinegar and sugar and pour over the cabbage. Set aside for 30-40 minutes. Add salad oil if desired.

½ tblsp sugar

Clean and wash the cabbage, remove the runt and shred. Add salt and vinegar. Stirring constantly warm over low heat until the cabbage becomes soft and settles. Chill, sprinkle with sugar and pour over oil.
