Crab salad - Russian Appetizer Recipe
How to Cook & Prepare Crab salad:
1 can crabmeat 100 g canned green
1 boiled turnip peas or string beans
1 boiled carrot ½ head lettuce
2 or 3 boiled potatoes 1/3 cupful mayonnaise
1 cucumber 2 tblsps vinegar
Salt
Dice the vegetables; cut the tomato into round slices. Cut up the lettuce
and heap in a salad dish;reserve lettuce leaves for garnishing. Arrange
each vegetable in a separate “bouquet” around the leeutce.
Put the drained centre of the lettuce. Just before serving, sprinkle a
dash of salt over the vegetables, moisten with salad oil and vinegar dressing
which has been blended with a little crabmeat juice. Pour the mayonnaise
over the crabmeat and garnish with lettuce leaves.
