Fish and tomato salad - Russian Appetizer RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Fish and tomato salad: 200 g fillet of fish 1 pickled cucumber Fresh sturgeon, sevruga, beluga zander or salmon are all suitable for this salad. Thoroughly mix the fish, gherkins, sliced tomato, lettuce peeled and diced potatoes and cucumbers. If desired, minced onion or green onions may be added just before serving salt lightly and blend with the mayonnaise and vinegar. Heap in a salad dish and garnish with lettuce leaves, sliced tomato and cucumber. The salad may also be garnished with pressed, soft or red caviar, strips of salmon or sturgeon and pitted olives.
