dressing : 300 g lettuce, washed 1 cucumber (optional) Cut the lettuce crosswise. Pour the dressing (see p.25) over the lettuce
just before serving, toss and sprinkle with finely minced dill or parsley.
Cucumber, sliced thin, may be added; decorate with bread crusts rubbed
with garlic and cut into diamonds. Serve with any roast, fried or boiled
meat or fried fish.
