Belyash (Kazakh Meat Pie) - Russian Bread and Pies Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Belyash (Kazakh Meat Pie):

500 g flour 15 g yeast
1 cupful milk ½ tsp salt
1 tsp sugar

Make a yeast dough and divide it into small cakes. Put a spoonful of meat filling (see below) in the middle of each cake, pinch the edges so that part of the filling is covered by the dough. Heat fat in a frying pan and fry the belyash on both sides, open side first.

Filling
400 g meat(boned) salt, pepper
2-3 onions Frying fat
3 tblsps water

Put the meat through the meat grinder, mix with minced onion, salt and pepper.
