Carrots - Russian Bread and Pies Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Carrots:

1---1 ½ kg carrots 1 tsp sugar
3 or 4 eggs salt
2or 3 tblsps butter

Scrape, wash and finely dice the carrots. Add ½ cupful of water, one spoonful of butter, cover with a lid and simmer until tender. Mash the carrots. Add sugar, butter and salt to taste. Add the chopped hard-cooked eggs and mix thoroughly.
