Curds - Russian Bread and Pies Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Curds:

(Cottage Cheese)
500 g curds ½ cupful sugar
1 egg 1 tblsp butter
salt 1 tblsp flour

Rub the curds through a strainer or put them through the food chopper. Add beaten egg, flour, sugar and boiled butter, and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly. If desired, vanilla flavouring, risins or candied fruit may be added. Should the curds be too moist, put them in a cheese cloth and squeeze out the whey.
