Dried Apricots - Russian Bread and Pies Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Dried Apricots :

400 g dried apricots
½ cupful sugar

Wash the dried apricots in warm water and drain. Add just enough water to cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain the fruit in a sieve, spread it on the dough and sprinkle with sugar. Use the fruit liquor for kissel or sweet sauce.
