Fresh Cabbage - Russian Bread and Pies Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Fresh Cabbage:

1 ½ to 2 kg head of 2 or 3 tblsps butter
cabbage 1 tsp sugar
3 or 4 eggs salt

Clean and shred the cabbage. Scald in a colander, then rinse with cold water and drain thoroughly. Saute in butter for 10 or 15 minutes, stirring continuously. Mix with chopped hard-cooked eggs, add sugar and salt to taste.
