Pancakes with Apples - Russian Bread and Pies Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Pancakes with Apples:

500 g flour 1 tblsp sugar
2 cupsful milk ½ tsp salt
(or water) 25 g yeast
2 eggs 3 or 4 apples
2 tblsps butter

Dissolve the yeast in warm water or milk. Add the butter, eggs, sugar and salt. Mix thoroughly and gradually stir in the flour. Cover with a cloth and set aside in a warm place to rise. Pare, core and shred the apples. When the batter rises, stir in the apples. Cook the pancakes on a hot griddle. Use a wet spoon to ladle the batter onto the griddle.
