Quick Pancakes - Russian Bread and Pies Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Quick Pancakes:

500 g flour ½ tsp salt
3 cupsful water ½ tsp baking soda
2 or 3 eggs ½ tsp acetic acid or
1 tblsp sugar cream of tartar

Beat the eggs and add warm water, salt, sugar and soda. Stir in the flour and mix with a whisk until the batter is smooth. Dissolve the acetic acid or cream of tartar in a cupful of water (additional) and sitr it into the batter. Mix thoroughly and cook at once as directed.
