Viziga - Russian Bread and Pies RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Viziga: 100 g viziga 3 or 4 eggs Soak the viziga in cold water for 2 or 3 hours. Wash, add fresh water to cover and cook for 3 to 3 ½ hours. When tender, drain thoroughly in a a colander. Put the viziga through the food chopper or mince it with a sharp knife. Add boiled butter, chopped hard-cooked eggs and minced parsley or dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix thoroughly.
