Buckwheat Kasha with Butter - Russian Cereals & Puddings Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Buckwheat Kasha with Butter :

2 cupsful buckwheat 3 cupsful water
groats 2 tblsps butter
1 tsp

Add the salt to the water and bring to boiling point. Stir in the cereal and boil for 15 to 20 minutes. When the cereal thickens, cover tightly and keep on the hob for 3 or 4 hours (or cook in a double boiler). Serve with butter.
