Crushed Wheat Kasha - Russian Cereals & Puddings RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Crushed Wheat Kasha : Bring the salt water to a boil and add the cereal which has been washed (if not too fine). Stirring constantly, cook for 15 to 20 minutes. When the cereal takes up the water, cover with a lid and keep it on the hob (or cook in a double-boiler) for 40 to 50 minutes. Serve with butter or condensed milk.
