Millet Kasha with Milk and Pumpkin - Russian Cereals & Puddings Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Millet Kasha with Milk and Pumpkin :

1 cupful millet 500 g pumpkin or
3 cuspfl milk winter squash
1 tsp sugar ½ tsp salt

Pare the pumpkin, remove the seeds and cut into small pieces. Heat the milk in a casserole, add the pumpkin and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in the washed millet, add salt. Mix and cook for another 15 to 20n minutes till the cereal takes up the milk. Pout the casserole in a water bath in the oven; steam for 25 to 30 minutes
