Noodle Pudding with Meat - Russian Cereals & Puddings Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Noodle Pudding with Meat:

250 g noodles 2 tblsps bread crumbs
250 g meat (boned) 1 tblsp butter
1 egg 1 onion (optional)
½ tsp salt Pepper

Cook and then drain the noodles. Put the meat (beef, lamb or pork) through the food chopper, season with salt and pepper and sauté in butter over low heat. When the meat is tender, put it through the food chopper again. Add 2 tblsps stock or water drained from the noodles. Mix thoroughly. If desired, add sautéed onion to the meat. Cooked meat may be substituted for raw meat. Add a raw egg and salt to the noodles in a buttered baking pan, spread the meat over the noodles and cover with another layer of noodles. Level off the top, dust with bread crumbs and sprinkle with butter. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
