Sweet Cheese Paste - Russian Diary RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Sweet Cheese Paste: Cream the butter until light and fluffy. Add the sugar, vanilla and salt and blend. Gradually add and mix thoroughly the cottage cheese which has been rubbed through a sieve and the sour cream. When the paste is smooth, heap it on a plate and smoothen with a knife. Garnish with fresh or fresh-frozen berries, chopped roasted almonds or pistachio nuts. Chill before serving.
