Rhubarb Kissel - Russian Desserts Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Rhubarb Kissel :

300 g rhubarb 2 tblsps potato flaour
¾ cupful sugar

Wash the rhubarb in cold water and remove the skins if tough. Dice and soak it in cold water for 10 to 15 minutes. Boil the sugar in 2 cupsful of water. Drain the rhubarb, add to the syrup and boil for 5 to 10 minutes. Thicken with the potato flour which has been dissolved in water. Chill and serve cold.
