Boiled salt roach - Russian Fish & Seafood RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Boiled salt roach: 600 g salt roach 10 g celery Soak (3-4 hours) and then skin the fish. Lay in a saucepan in one layer. Add cold wsater to cover, the bay leaf, dry or fresh parsley root, celery, carrot and onion sliced thin or shredded. Simmer for 12 to 15 minutes. Before serving pour over boiled fish sauce with minced green parsley, hard-cooked chopped egg, butter or capers. Horseradish and vinegar sauce may be served separately instead of boiled fish sauce.
