Catfish in Tomato Sauce - Russian Fish & Seafood Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Catfish in Tomato Sauce:

with Vegetables
600 g catfish 120 g mushrooms
20 g onion 40 g crabmeat
20 g parsley 300 g greens
20 g carrot salt

Cut the fillets of catfish into portions. Steam together with the onion, carrot and parsley. Use the fish stock to make the sauce. Serve garnished with boiled potatoes, mushrooms and crabmeat. Pour over tomato sauce with vegetables (see p.88). Sprinkle with minced parsley.

Zander pike, codfish burbot, sole, halibut, or sturgeon in tomato sauce with vegetables.

Any of these fish may be substituted in the above recipe.
