Codfish Baked in Milk Sauc - Russian Fish & Seafood RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Codfish Baked in Milk Sauce: 500 g codfish 25 g cheese Spread a layer of boiled or mashed potatoes on the bottom of a buttered
baking dish. Over this lay portions of codfish cooked in a savoury stock.
Make thin milk sauce (see p.88). Add to it slightly browned minced onion
and boil. Taste to correct seasoning. Pour the sauce over the fish, sprinkle
with grated cheese and dot with butter. Brown in the oven. Serve in baking
dish.
