in cold water for 1 hour. Wash again. Put the roach in a saucepan, sprinkle
with minced onion (or green onions), pour in hot milk and simmer for 30
to 40 minutes. Serve the fish together with the milk and onion. Sprinkle
with minced green parsley. Garnish with buttered beans, boiled or mashed
potatoes.
