Pike Baked in Onion Sauce with Mushrooms - Russian Fish & Seafood Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Pike Baked in Onion Sauce with Mushrooms:

500 g pike 20 g dry bread crumbs
40 g vegetables 600 g potatoes
spices for savoury stock 500 g sauce
30 g butter salt, pepper

Boil the portions of filleted pike in a savoury stock. Lay the fish in a frying pan and surround with the sliced boiled potatoes. Pour over the onion sauce with mushrooms. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and butter. Bake to a golden brown. Serve in a baking dish.

Codfish, Zander, Catfish or Burbot in Onion Sauce with Mushrooms

Substitute any of these fish in the above recipe.
