Pike with potatoes and onions - Russian Fish & Seafood RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Pike with potatoes and onions: 750 g pike 4 tblsps butter Clean, wash and thinly slice the onions. Saute slightly in butter. Add the pieces of fish which have been sprinkled with salt. Cover with the sliced tomatoes. Add 3 or 4 tblsps water. Sprinkle the tomatoes with salt and pepper. Slice and fry the potatoes and put them around the fish. Dot with butter. Cover the skillet with a lid and bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 150*C (300*F). Before serving sprinkle with the minced parsley. Barbel, sole, codfish or eels with potatoes and onions Substitute any of these fish in the above recipe.
