Sole or Halibut Baked with Kasha - Russian Fish & Seafood Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Sole or Halibut Baked with Kasha:

1 kg sole or halibut 20 g cheese
25 g flour 600 g prepared kasha
80 g butter, butter 500 g sour cream sauce
margarine or minced dill or parsley
vegetable oil

Prepare the fish. Dredge with flour and fry in vegetable oil. Put fluffy buckwheat, rice or wheat kasha in frying pan. Lay the fried fish on the kash. Pour over the sour cream sauce (see p.81). Sprinkle with grated cheese and dot with butter. Brown in the oven. Sprinkle with minced parsley or dill before serving.
