Sole or Halibut with Spinach - Russian Fish & Seafood Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Sole or Halibut with Spinach:

Clean and wash the fish. Steam in a stock to which white wine has been added. Steam the spinach in butter and spread it on a platter. Put the fish on the spinach. Pour over milk sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese and butter. Brown quickly in a hot oven.

Fish with Sauerkraut
(Fish Solyanka)

500 g filleted fish 1 cupful fish liquor
2 tblsps butter (or water)
2 tblsps tomato puree 50 g capers
2 tblsps dry bread 50 g olives
crumbs 2 onions
2 pickled cucumbers salt, pepper
2 bay leaves
