Stewed sprats - Russian Fish & Seafood RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Stewed sprats: 500 g sprats 2 ½ tbslps weak (3%) Prepare the sprats, sprinkle with salt and arrange in a saucepan not
more than three deep (backes downward). Pour vinegar and oil over each
layer of sprats. Cover the saucepan with a lid and cook in a hot water
bath for 2 to 3 hours. Serve hot with boiled potatoes, or cold with vinegret
or potato salad.
