Beef Stroganoff - Russian Meat RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Beef Stroganoff: 500 g fillet, rump or 2 onions Wash and trim the meat. Slice into medium-sized pieces and pound or beat
to flatten. Then cut into shoestring. Shred the onion and sauté
in butter. When the onion is golden brown, add the meat which has been
dredged with salt and pepper. Fry for 5 or 6 minutes stirring constantly
with a fork. Sprinkle flour over the meat, stir and fry for another 2
or 3 minutes. Add the sour cream, stir and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more.
Add Yuzhny sauce. Taste to correct seasoning. Garnish with fried potatoes.
The meat and potatoes may be sprinkled with minced dill or parsley.
