Braised Beef Heart or Udder - Russian Meat RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Braised Beef Heart or Udder: 500 g beef heart or 1 tblsp tomato puree Wash the meat. Cut into cubes weighing 30 to 40 g and wash again. Dredge
with salt and pepper and brown in butter together with a finely shredded
onion. Sprinkle with flour and brown a few minutes more. Transfer to a
saucepan and add hot water to cover. Add tomato puree and a bay leaf.
Cover with a lid and simmer for 1 to 1 ½ hours. Serve with a garnishing
of fried or boiled potatoes
