Casserole of Beef with Kvass - Russian Meat Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Casserole of Beef with Kvass:

600 g beef 2 ½ cupsful kvass
40 g rendered fat 80 g bread crumbs
120 g onion Salt, pepper and other
150 g carrots spices
60 g tomato puree

Cut the meat into portions, finely slice the carrots and onions. Saute the meat, onions and carrots. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. When browned, add tomato puree. Transfer to a stoneware pot or casserole, add kvass, bread crumbs and spices. Braise until done. Serve garnished with boiled potatoes
