Country Beef Stew, Georgian Manner - Russian Meat Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Country Beef Stew, Georgian Manner:

400-500 g tenderloin, ¼ cupful grape wine
short loin or rump of 2 or 3 tblsps butter
beef clove of garlic
2 onions salt
2 pickled cucumbers minced parsley
2 tblsps tomato puree

Wash the meat. Remove the tendons and cut into small pieces. Add finely cut onion and sauté in butter. Transfer to a shallow saucepan. Add tomato puree, peeled and sliced pickled cucumbers, clove of garlic, salt, wine and two or three tablespoonsful of meat stock. Cover with a lid and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve sprinkled with minced parsley.
