Lamb Stew(Ushnoye) - Russian Meat Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Lamb Stew (Ushnoye):

I
600 g lamb 250 g carrots
40 g fat 15 g flour
200 g onion 3-4 cloves of garlic
200 g turnips salt, pepper

Cut the lamb into 25-30 g pieces, dredge with salt and pepper and sear. Put the meat and sliced vegetables in a casserole, cover tightly with a lid and cook until tender. Add the garlic. Drain off part of the juice and stir into flour which has been browned. Pour this sauce into the casserole.

600 g lamb 120 g carrots
40 g fat 120 g turnips
40 g onion 1 tsp flour
500 g potatoes 3-4 cloves of garlic

Prepare as directed above, adding the potatoes along with the other vegetables.
