Mushrooms Braised in Cream - Russian Mushroom Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Mushrooms Braised in Cream :


500 g edible aspen or salt, dill, cinnamon,
brown cap boletus parsley, bay leaf, clove
1 cupful cream and peppercorns
1 tblsp butter

Clean, wash and scald the fresh mushrooms. Slice, season with salt and sauté slightly. Transfer the mushrooms to a saucepan or casserole and add boiling cream. Add the herbs which have been tied together and a bag of spices. Salt to taste. Cover and bake for about an hour. When the mushrooms are tender, remove the herbs and spices. Serve in the casserole
