Angler’s Fish Soup - Russian Soup Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Angler’s Fish Soup:


(Ukha Rybatskaya)

500 g small fish 2 tblsps butter
1 kg potatoes 5-6 peppercorns
2 onions (120G) 2 bay leaves
1 parsley root (30 g) 1 tblsp minced herbs

This soup is best when different kinds of fish are cooked together. Add to the fish stock parsley or celery roots, whole small potatoes, onion and pieces of fish. Bring to the boil, skim and simmer for 25 minutes. Add the peppercorns, bay leaves and salt to taste. Put a piece of butter in each plate before serving and sprinkle with minced herbs.
