Apricot and apple soup - Russian Soup Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Apricot and apple soup:

500 g fresh ripe 3 tblsps sugar
Apricots 2 tsps potato flour
500 g apples

Wash and stone the apricots. Simmer in 2 cupsful of water until soft. Rub through a sieve or strainer. To this puree add 3 cupsful of hot water, sugar and apples which have been pared and sliced or cut into strips. Bring to the boil and, stirring constantly, add the potato flour which has been combined with about 3 tblsps of cold water. Bring to the boil, if desired, lemon juice may be added.
