Brussels Sprout Soup - Russian Soup Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Brussels Sprout Soup:

600 g Brussels sprouts 2 tblsps butter
6-7 cupsful mushroom ½ cupful sour cream
stock (or hot water) salt to taste
3-4 potatoes

Cut the heads from the stock and clean. Parboil 2 minutes and drain, sauté slightly in butter. Add mushroom stock or hot water. Add sliced potatoes and salt to taste. Cook 20 to 30 minutes. Top each plate with a spoonful of sour cream Serve immediately.
