Cream of Pumpkin Soup - Russian Soup RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Cream of Pumpkin Soup: Pare, wash and slice the pumpkin and potatoes. Cook in 3 or 4 cupsful
of water. Add salt, sugar and a tablespoonful of butter. Simmer for 25
to 30 minutes. ADD croutouns (fried in butter or toasted), stir and bring
to the boil. Sift and rub through a sieve. Add hot milk until it is the
thickness of cream. Top with butter.
