Potato and Vermicelli Soup - Russian Soup Recipe

How to Cook & Prepare Potato and Vermicelli Soup:

500 g meat 200 g vegetable roots
100 g vermicelli and onion
500 g potatoes 2 tblsps butter
1 ½ litres water salt, peper bay leaf

Shred the vegetable roots and onion; sauté in butter. Cut up the potatoes and add to the boiling meat stock together with browned vegetables. Simmer for 15 minutes, then add the vermicelli and a bay leaf. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 12 to 15 mintues.
