Vegetables Soup with Meat Stock - Russian Soup RecipeHow to Cook & Prepare Vegetables Soup with Meat Stock: 300 g meat 1 ½ litres water Prepare a meat stock. Clean and slice the root vegetables and onion; brown slightly in butter in the soup kettle. Add the cabbage and the stock. Bring to the boil, add the diced potatoes and cook for 20 to 25 minutes. Shred the spinach or lettuce, slice the tomatoes and add together with bay leaf. Add pepper and salt to taste. Top each plate with a spoonful of sour cream.
