Potato Pudding(Potato Zapekanka) - Russian Vegetarian Recipe

How to Cook & PreparePotato Pudding
(Potato Zapekanka) :

1 kg potatoes 1 cupful milk
2 eggs 3 tblsps butter
3 onions salt

Boil, drain and mash the potatoes. Stir in hot milk, beaten raw eggs, salt and creamed butter. Combine thoroughly. Spread half the mixture in a buttered baking pan. Put sliced and sautéed onion on the potatoes and cover with the rest of the potato mixture. Brush the top with butter or sour cream and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with milk, sour cream or mushroom sauce
